Kamui, a
long-time collaborator of Bad Dog Books, was the natural choice for
cover artist -- if only because the man is really, really gay about
doing covers. So gay that he can sometimes be persuaded to give
substantial discounts on his astronomical (yet, considering the
quality of his work, wholly deserved) fees.
He managed to cram an enormous amount of excitement and information into a single comic-sized image.
Owen's desperation, the chaos and destruction pursuing him, even a stylized representation of Malloy, hinting at the faint religious themes wrought throughout the badass urban action-adventure.
Thank you very much, kamui.
